El Aura Lodge ha construido y opera sus propios servicios de agua, energía, tratamiento de efluentes, teléfono e internet.
Energía eléctrica y Calefacción: Desde mediados del verano, y a veces tan pronto como principios de Febrero, los arroyos tienen muy poca agua, esperando sedientos las primeras lluvias de Abril. Como El Aura Lodge genera su propia energía mediante una mini central hidroeléctrica (y un generador térmico complementario), esta escasez de agua obliga a hacer cortes en el suministro de Energía durante algunas horas de la tarde y de la noche. En cualquier caso el suministro está garantizado por 10 a 12 horas por día.
The cabins for 4 people have an emergency lighting system and another that guarantees the availability of hot water and heating even during those hours without power.
The two cabins for two people also have emergency lighting but lack the system that provides hot water and heating. Please note that in these two cabins, there will be no hot water or heating from midnight until 8 or 9 a.m. The cabins have been built with a high thermal capacity, so they will cool down slowly during the night but will heat up quickly within the first half hour after the power is restored in the morning. For those who enjoy a fire, these cabins have a wood-burning stove that replaces the gas heating. By leaving the thermostat on, the heating will automatically turn on in the morning, ensuring the cabin is warm and there is hot water for your morning bath.
