Rental cars
From Bariloche or Esquel you can rent a car and drive along Provincial Route 71 to the park (approximately 70 km from Esquel or 240 km from Bariloche).Scenic driving but in rural/Patagonian areas: good weather and experience on long routes are recommended.
Buses
There are no direct city buses within Los Alerces National Park, but there are minibuses or transfers from:Bariloche bus terminal → Esquel (various companies)Esquel Terminal → near the park (local service depending on the season)From the bus terminal, you can take a taxi or private car service to the lodge. From Esquel or Bariloche Airport or Terminal you can take: Taxi or remis towards Los Alerces National Park (higher cost but direct).
Local transport and routes
Provincial Route No. 71: This is the main route that takes you to Los Alerces National Park and up to kilometer 40 where the lodge is located. Suitable for any vehicle (caution is advised while driving).
